Wondering were 15 minute famers are now? I am.

Back about a decade or more ago ABC came up with a wonderful comedy show akin to todays internet videos. They came up with a show allowing people to submit their videos and have them do battle with the other videos to see who had the video supremacy.

Well, I was having a conversation with a friend when she said, "I don't know how anyone can stay in a bad mood after seeing children in AFV clips." I began to think, there has to be someone who doesn't find children humiliating themselves on TV positively mood altering. My mind wandered, I began thinking of people who wouldn't like AFV videos. My mind wandered till I thought of the child, the one who stared in said video. The child who way back when was on the show. The child now has to be at least 16-20 living a life of constant humiliation as each night reruns show the clip of them covered in chocolate or whatever normal childhood act is caught on tape.

It was about the best case I could think of for a person that doesn't get into a good mood over children on AFV. I really do wonder where those people are now, and I feel for you.

Benny Parsons

It is not a secret among my close friends that I am a huge race fan. As a result I feel a great loss of one of the worlds greatest racers, Benny Parsons.

I have been a face fan since I can remember. I have always been amazed by race cars. From my earliest memories of walking through the pits at Adams County Speedway. A small dirt track on the outskirts of a little town in Iowa near where I grew up, till now where I walk the pits of Nextel Cup races.

To me in many ways Benny became a voice of NASCAR. As John Madden is to football, he became a symbol of the sport he once competed in. While for a few races this season his voice was absent as he was battling his cancer. I realize that those broadcasts just didn't seem right without him. Its made me realize must how much Benny will be missed.

Greatest Trivia Game Ever

I thought I would point out one the best finds I have come across in a long time. You Don't Know Jack, a popular computer game back around 2000, is back. Well at least back to me, cause I doubt they ever really left. Anyway the kings of quiz show comedy over at Jellyvision are producing a daily Dis or Dat. Complete with all the classic styles they are know for. Check them out.

Admittedly, its bringing back the memories of when I was still living in the dorms. We all sat, several people huddled around a computer watching, listening, learning, and laughing. It was something fun to do that didn't make us feel so bad we were neglecting homework, cause it was still like learning. Only funny.
